Several folks asked what I’ve been crocheting for the baby. I’m embarassed to say, nothing! Ever since we found out I am pregnant, my husband and I have been running around like madmen doing things to the house. We suddenly realized… we… have… done… NOTHING… to… the.. house… aaaaaaaaargh! We’ve been here nearly five years and have been talking about all sorts of things but not actually doing any of them.
In the time since we found out we’d successfully gotten me knocked up :-) we have had hardwood floors installed in the living, dining, hall, and foyer areas of the house and pavers installed in previously ratty-looking, high-traffic areas of the yard. This week most of the rooms of the house are being painted and in a few weeks the window treatments we ordered will arrive. Oh, and I’m cleaning out the fininshed room over the garage because now we’re going to need the space! It’s a mess up there; you’d think it was an attic–ugh, where did all the stuff come from?? If I’m brave, maybe I’ll post before and after photos when we’re done. :-)

Congratulations! I am away a week and a half and look at what’s going on!!! ;-) Isn’t is amazing what you can do in such a little amount of time when you’ve a deadline looming?
Just wanted you to know I crocheted the alternating windowpanes scarf for a friend with Red Heart Light and Lofty and she LOVED it. It was such an easy project and QUICK and looks very interesting.
