The February/March Crochet me went live yesterday and it’s bigger than ever. Yay! This issue focuses on one-sitting projects, and in it you’ll find my pattern for a crocheted book thong.

Another classy design from Donna. I inherited a bunch of little hooks…maybe now I will be brave enough to use one!

great pattern. I went to the store at midnight last night just to get some beads and try this pattern. I dont crochet very much with thread…it is very tedious. But I tried this and I LOVE it!!!!! I think everyone will get one for their birthday!
Thanks

I got my sister one of these from Barnes and Noble one year for either her birthday or Christmas…she LOVED it, but lost it. I’m glad I can make her a replacement! Thank you SO MUCH!

I love this pattern! Thank you so very much for sharing it. The only thing that I am still in the dark about is the beads themselves. When I go shopping online for beads they have the total bead size (not the inner hole size). May I ask where you found your beads and what size and type (glass, etc.) they are? Thanks oodles!

I love this! Thank you for sharing the pattern. I went out and bought some fabulous heart beads and am going to try to whip some up for Valentine’s Day gifts. Thanks again!

it’s very pretty and i’ll definitely give it a try…however, would you mind if i called it a book mark? or book chain? “thong” just makes me cringe. ;)

That is absolutely beautiful! I am such a book lover, now I’ll have to find some beads. Donna, I don’t want to spend anymore money–see what you are making me do!!!!

Well, isn’t that just the best looking thong out there!! I mean it. Those beads are great….and yes, you’ve just added another project to my list (but I’ll forgive you since it looks like a one-hour affair ;)

You know, I don’t have any steel hook yet but surely I would go and get one this afternoon … for this project!
