Continuing yesterday’s story…
Four days before Christmas I opened my mailbox to find a small, padded envelope addressed to Crochet Secret Pal. Even though it was from Lil Hat Shack and the return address was familiar, it didn’t click right away that Carmen, the pal I’d been sending gifts to, had send a gift to me!
I let out a squeal of delight when I opened the envelope. Inside was a note and this adorable, lovable Clay Baby Sock Monkey!

Note: For those of you wondering how my pal got my address, I use my return address on the Secret Pal packages I send, but not my name. Yes, it is a possibility that my pal might be able to identify me that way, but I would rather take the chance of spoiling the surprise than to risk having a package lost with no return address.

Thanks, everybody! Nope, the tree is not still up, LOL. I took the pic at Christmas, but couldn’t post the photo until now without revealing my identity to my Secret Pal. :)

the ornament is very cute. Is that your Christmas tree and is it still up?? you are a holiday kind of girl if it is. Mine came down the monday after Christmas.
